The company was established in 2005 and is the largest bitumen export unit in the Middle East with a nominal capacity of 1,800,000 tons. The company has facilities for the production and storage of export bitumen, including four separate units for various types of blown bitumens with a total nominal capacity of 40,000 barrels per day, cutback bitumens with a nominal capacity of 7,100 barrels per day, and emulsion bitumens with a capacity of 200 tons per day. Additionally, the site has a separate unit for the production of polymer-modified and modified bitumens with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year.

The company's laboratory is the most equipped industrial bitumen laboratory in the country and the region. It has been recognized as the first internationally accredited laboratory with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard since 2007. The laboratory serves as a reference for issuing test results for various types of bitumen and collaborates with various inspection companies in the region, including SGS and Atlas. It is known as the company's central laboratory.
